Prof. Daniel de Carvalho Moreira graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture and Urbanism from Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1994), an M.S. in Visual Communication from University of Campinas (2000) and holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from University of Campinas (2007) with the thesis “Principles of the synthesis of form and architectural design analysis”. He has experience in architectural design, focusing on Architectural Design Methods and the subjects: architectural design; architectural drawing; fundamentals of architecture.

Daniel de Carvalho Moreira is a professor of fundamentals of architecture, architectural design, architectural drawing and research data management in the School of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urban Design at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). In the disciplines of Fundamentals of Architecture (since 2010), he introduces the first year undergraduate students of Architecture and Urban Design course to the practice of architecture over the past 5,000 years in a global context. In the teaching of Architectural Drawing (since 2003), he presents the concepts of parallel and perspective projections and its applications on different graphical methods for the representation and the analysis of architecture. In his teaching activity as a postgraduate professor (since 2009), he teaches Research Data Management courses with bibliographic reference management systems for collect, organize and present research data.
